I am available for hire in a number of different production roles. Below are a list of the most common bookings I take.

Acquisition
Director Of Photography
I usually work as a DoP in the commercial and promotional sectors but have extensive experience in narrative, music video and larger corporate production as well. My rates are charged by the day and are in line with current APA guidelines.
Camera Operator
Wet and dry hire options available. I regularly work as an operator in sectors across the whole business including live capture. My rates are charged by the day and in line with current APA guidelines.
I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have a full clean driving license and am available to work anywhere, domestic or internationally.
Colouring
I own and operate a state of the art colouring suite with Blackmagic panels and calibrated Eizo displays. I can deliver colour accurate work for online, broadcast or cinema.
I am fully set up for remote working for safety and convenience and offer a few different packages to suit commercial and corporate clients alike.
Full Grading Package
This is my full colouring service and is preferred by Commercial and Promo clients.
I’ll work with you to dial in the perfect look for your project, analysing any supplied reference material and researching any ideas you may have. I will typically offer a look book of potential grades in response and discuss options until a decision is made on the final colour treatment required.
With the prep work done, I will then transform, colour correct, clean up, shot match, grade, conform and deliver a set of Onlines to the required specification. You have full access to me at every stage of this process.
This colouring service is charged by the day and pre production work is entirely optional.
Colour Correction and Shot Matching
This is the bread and butter of any colouring session and where my corporate clients find the most value.
Corporate, Documentary and Event based projects can face any number of compromises and challenges when it comes to acquisition of footage. There are often many factors that are out of the shooting teams control. Time constraints, non ideal locations and acquisition budgets can all add pressure that sometimes compromise footage.
My shot matching and colour correction service fixes any badly matched footage, unifying the look and levels on a shot by shot basis.
Its important to note that this service does not include any colour grading, secondaries or look development. Instead I take source footage, transform it to the required colour space, correct the levels and match shots across each scene.
This service does however give you the perfect starting point should you want to apply your own look or preferred LUT yourself.
Aimed primarily at lower budget corporate clients there are flexible options for pricing on this service so get in touch for details.
Shot Clean Up
I offer cleanup services on a shot by shot basis.
Typical clean up services include best in class noise reduction, object removal, tracking and compositing.
A common example would be removing an unsightly sign or object in the back of a shot.
This kind of work is shot specific and quotes are worked out on a shot by shot basis.
So how does it work?
Working with me is easy. I integrate with most modern production pipelines and am always happy to be as flexible as required on this front.
That being said there are two common approaches that most of my clients chose.
The first is a more traditional ‘round trip’ where a client will send their footage, a reference export and an XML of their edit. I re-compile the project, work on the footage and then send back graded Onlines. This is a longer process but avoids any additional versioning of footage ensuring the absolute highest quality. This is the preferred method by most commercial clients with RAW workflows.
The second is known as a ‘Bake and Blade’ workflow. The client sends a high quality export of their picture locked edit in a format of ProRes 422 or higher. I will then chop this file up into individual shots, work on the footage and send back a colour corrected, graded version. This is the preferred method for a lot of clients as it is quickest. There is typically one more generation/version involved but quality loss is minimal and well within tolerance for most delivery platforms.
Motion Graphics and Animation
I offer a full spectrum of services on this front whether you are after title sequences, lower thirds, motion graphics or fully animated productions.
I am a fully licensed user of the full Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, ZBrush and 3D Coat.
These jobs are priced individually after consultation.
Editorial
Both Online and Offline edit services are available. Wet hire day rates apply.
My primary editing software is Adobe Premiere but I am a fully licensed Resolve Studio user should that be more appropriate to your workflow.
Graphic Design
I am available for all types of graphic design work whether it be online corporate imagery, print or merchandise design.
These projects are priced individually after consultation so please do get in touch if you have anything in mind.
Video Design
I am taking bookings for installation and theatre video design. I am not only able to create the video content but can also arrange equipment and technical crew to fit up your production.
Pre Production
I am available for pre production work including storyboarding, previsualisation, concept work and keyshot development.
Production
Although I am a freelancer rather than a production company I have built up an extensive network of trusted collaborators. I am able to put together a production team if required and in some cases will take on a prodcution in its entirety.

Consultation
I have extensive experience running ‘in house’ video production units. Not only managing personel and productions but also setting up and designing critical technical infrastructure, colloaborative pipelines and shared servers as well as robust archiving systems.
I am available for contract consultant work.
Education
I have often found it difficult to offer work experience due to the nature of my work and the insurance considerations that come along with filming with younger people as crew.
As a result I have developed lecturing and workshop services which I feel reach a larger number of young people and are ultimately more valuable for their learning.
